From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Guinness managed the Telli servers, made enhancements to Telli's front-end web products and back-end management software, redeveloped the Telli corporate website, and created new software products for integration into the Telli product suite.

Among the products that Mr. Guinness developed are user-submitted classifieds, Telli Coupons, TelliPage Statistics, an automated data feed of local movie times, an automated customer subscription and billing system, an enhanced web search, and a back-end user tracking system.

In March 2005, Mr. Guinness played an instrumental role in the development of the first major advertising campaign to promote Telli Marin in Marin County, California. This included working with an advertising team to enhance the marketability of the Telli website including modifying Telli's software tools for greater ease of use, and upgrading the visual appeal of the Telli Directory.

In addition to having ongoing input in all of Telli's promotional campaigns, Mr. Guinness continues to manage all of Telli's locally-targeted online advertising campaigns to bring in more viewers and to highlight Telli's latest and most up-to-date categories, as well as gather feedback from customers and make modifications to Telli's web products to increase their usefulness.

Additionally, Mr. Guinness meets regularly with customers on a one-on-one basis as a TelliPage Consultant to create TelliPages for small business customers and then teach them to maintain their pages themselves.

In December 2005, he hired a software development staff on a contract basis to continue the development of Telli's product suite. Responsibilities of the staff include programming enhancements and new features for Telli's back-end management software, quality assurance, product documentation, and development of an installation system for quick deployment of Telli Directories to new areas.

Mr. Guinness has studied computer programming at UC Berkeley Extension, and is experienced in (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, C, and Visual Basic programming, Object-Oriented programming and design methods, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) techniques, as well as MySQL database and Windows systems management. He has done extensive work not only on Telli's systems and software, but has also created and maintained websites as a freelance web programmer and done freelance work in PC maintenance.

Before joining Telli, Mr. Guinness studied at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and spent a year abroad studying French language and literature at L'Université de Jean Moulin in Lyon, France.

In the summer of 2000, while still a student at college, he served as Assistant Director of the Wine Country Film Festival – a two-week festival showing over 100 short and feature-length films in multiple locations throughout Sonoma and Napa Counties. While in this position, he designed, assembled, and served as chief editor of the festival's souvenir film guide, coordinated traffic of over 100 film prints, and conducted the entire film entry and selection process.

Mr. Guinness holds a B.A. in French language from the University of British Columbia.
